Hello #shadowhunters friends. I trust your day is going well. There is a popular saying that when the going is good, you have many friends, but when the reverse is the case, everybody seems to desert the person.
An employee walked up to me this week and lamented how he lost money through some online chain activities.
His pain was how he introduced the platform to his friends, and how they all abandoned him when they got a grapevine that the platform was about to crash. The platform eventually crashed without his knowledge, and he lost some money.
I encouraged him and informed him that life is just a game of wits. People try to outsmart each other. I also advised him to always be on top of his game by building his loyal team from where he can always get reasonable information regarding things happening around him, even in his absence.
We also discussed some office politics tactics and how one can leverage friends and wisdom to build a loyal base. At the end, we learned and unlearned from each other and braced for better days.
Thereafter, I stormed out to hunt for shadows to do my weekly write-up.
