Making My Dreams A Reality With $1,000

Theme-: “If You Had $1,000 Today, What Would You Do?" Would you invest, save, spend, donate, or start a business? Why would you choose that option, and what long-term impact would it have on your life?

Hello #indiaunited friends. I trust you are having a great week. I am happy to be participating in this week's prompt/question. I welcome you to my blog.

Marek Studzinski
A little money one has is great when it is properly managed. Having $1,000 today in my country of origin is like having one million three hundred and eighty-three naira, two hundred and sixty naira, using the conversion rate. Again, looking around me, I might not be able to invest the money in acquiring property, which is my utmost desire.

However, what quickly comes to mind is quietly ploughing that money into an existing business to yield more profit for future expansion and diversification. I will not spend the money nor save it because the interest it will generate will not impact me.

Furthermore, there are small businesses that the money can start, like the Point of Sale (POS) business. I know of a woman who started a POS business two years ago with a N500,000 loan. Today, she has expanded her business tentacles to include bringing palm oil from the east.

Additionally, in my office, we carry out cooperative buying and sharing of foodstuffs, meat, dry fish, etc., which can sponsor such a business outfit. Since we do outsource the purchase, I will apply for the vendor through a third-party contract.

There is a popular saying that where there is a will, there is a way”. Hence, as long as I am diligent and prudent in financial management. I am certain that with the sum of $1,000, I can make visible improvements in my business wits, and rather than spending the money on frivolity.

In conclusion, I will invest the money after completing a feasibility study and business mapping, confirming which venture will be profitable for me with a measurable return on investment (ROI).

You make opening a business sound easy.
Sadly, I can't say the same in Canada because of the high cost of government paper work and paying your taxes up front before I can even open. It's as if I were being penalized for competing against any established big business.

Woah, this is sad. Looking at the sum, it wont be too hard to start those small businesses. But will be hard when it comes to those medium businesses.
In Nigeria as well, the tax clearance and other items are needed but not for the SME.

CANADA is well organised in the tax system and regulations. Going through those processes are cumbersome compared to our system here.

I wish you well, in your business desires.
Thank you for stopping by.
I appreciate 🙏 💛
