Describe the perfect afternoon for you. Where would it be? What would you be doing? Tell us the details that would make it perfect!

Hello #ladiesofhive, happy new week. I trust you are having a beautiful time out there. In this week's prompt, I chose the first prompt: A perfect afternoon for me.

Can anything be perfect, so to speak, in this life? I learnt from my recent loss here that nothing is free in this life. There must be a sacrifice or something we give in exchange for that. I have come to this reality to enable me to heal from that loss and quickly move on. Believe me, it is working out super for me. Therefore, a perfect afternoon for me cannot happen for free; I must give something in exchange, like a time-out request from work, or it happens on my Saturdays while I put my chores on hold.
I have asked myself several times since I saw this prompt if I do have perfect afternoons, and the answer is maybe when I was a child, but since I became an adult and started earning funds, my afternoons have been a time to work, real work. Even when I claim I am on break, there must be a few things to attend to, either on my phone through calls or messages. Sometimes, I do wish I had all the time to myself.
Thinking aloud about my perfect afternoon would be a time out with my friends at the table tennis court, playing and chilling while listening to country or pop music. During my National Youth Service Corps, I played with my team, and we won the silver. I also got a merit certificate for that. After that, I only played occasionally. Recently, I struggled to get approval for an official time-out in my workplace for employee bonding that was nearly perfect.

On that fateful day, we went out to a chosen field, formed teams, and played various games at the event place. Danced, ate, and drank to our satisfaction while we also cracked jokes. Did story tellings and closed with an exchange of gifts between employees. It was a great day for all of us. It was also that day that most of the employees found out that I can play table tennis.
In conclusion, all work and no play makes me a dull person. So, taking a few times off work in the afternoon and relaxing my brain and system is a kind of unwinding moment that would describe my perfect afternoon.
