Yesterday morning, I had an unfortunate experience with a transfer. I'm usually very careful with my transfers, but this happened yesterday. I was using Keychain to transfer the funds. I thought the dropdown got selected, but it looks like there was an issue with the dropdown. I wanted to select the account @crypto-wisdom, but I typed @crypto and tried selecting, but the selection did not go through, and I ended up selecting @crypto account instead.
It is purely my mistake, and I should have verified it one more time before hitting the send button, but I didn't do it, and I hit the send button. Only after the recipient mentioned that they did not get the funds did I realize that I had sent it to the wrong account. I have made similar mistakes in the past, but I am usually very careful when doing transfers. This one happened in an urgency, and it cost me 100 HBD.

I immediately sent a message to the person requesting to send the money back. I guess the account has been inactive for a very long time, and not sure who owns that account. I tried tracing out who created the account, but I couldn't get any information. Whoever owns that account, if they are kind enough to send the amount back, we will be thankful.

This is a good lesson for me. Even if I'm in a rush, I should be very careful and should not forget to validate the account before hitting the send button. Even though I'm usually very careful, this one happened just like that. I thought I selected it on Keychain, but then realized that my selection did not work. I found the problem when I tried to do it the second time on Keychain.

I reached out to the Keychain team and reported this issue. Thanks to them, the issue was also fixed asap by @stoodkev. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but they were very fast in fixing the issue. Hopefully, it did not affect anyone else.
