Initiative YouHive: Musical Video - “Unchained Melody” The most beautiful song in the world (ENG - ESP)

Greetings dear friends of YouHive. Music is really wonderful, I have enjoyed this initiative as never before, bringing my musical impressions through videos that we see on networks like YouTube, the truth is that it has been a very good idea, it has even been like a personal relief, it has been remembering good times and travel in the time of good music. The music video initiative is almost over, although I know that the theme of the community allows us to bring reviews of all those videos that we like, but I wanted to be faithful to the theme of music videos, so all this time I only brought music.

Today I want to share with you what for me is one of the most beautiful pieces of music in English in the world. This song has something special because it takes me to my childhood, I remember when I was a child I saw a movie called, “Ghost” which by the way is one of my favorite movies, without any shame I can tell you that I cried with the end of this movie and I have also seen it over and over again.

La música es realmente una maravilla, me he disfrutado esta iniciativa como nunca, el traer mis impresione musicales a través de videos que vemos en las redes como YouTube, la verdad que ha sido una muy buena idea, Incluso ha sido como un desahogo personal, ha sido recordar buenos momentos y viajar en el tiempo de la buena música. Ya casi termina la iniciativa de videos musicales, aunque se que de igual forma la temática de la comunidad nos permite traer reseñas de todos aquellos vídeos que nos gustan, pero quise ser fiel a la temática de videos musicales, por eso todo este tiempo solo traje música.

Hoy les quiero compartir lo que para mi es una de las piezas musicales en ingles mas hermosas del mundo. Esta canción tiene algo especial porque me lleva a mi infancia, recuerdo que de muy pequeño vi una pelicula llamada, "Ghost" que por cierto es una de mis películas favoritas, sin pena alguna les comento que llore con el final de esta pelicula y tambien la he visto una y otra vez.

However, the most famous and remembered version is that of The Righteous Brothers, released in 1965, especially for its reappearance in the movie “Ghost” (1990), the movie I mentioned a few paragraphs earlier.

Como han podido ver mis gustos musicales son muy antiguos a pesar de que no soy una persona de 60 años, incluso he traído música de épocas donde yo no había nacido, pero lo que sí tengo es buen oído para valorar la verdadera esencia de la música.

La canción "Unchained Melody" fue interpretada originalmente por Todd Duncan en 1955. Fue compuesta por Alex North (música) y Hy Zaret (letra) para la película "Unchained" (de ahí el nombre de la canción). Todd Duncan la cantó como parte de la banda sonora de esa película.
Sin embargo, la versión más famosa y recordada es la de The Righteous Brothers, lanzada en 1965, especialmente por su reaparición en la película "Ghost" (1990), Es la película que les mencioné unos párrafos otras.

“Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers is like a plea of deep longing for a love that is no longer there, of someone who misses immensely the person he loves, the one who is everything in his life. Even if you analyze the first part of the lyrics of the song "Oh, my love, my darling, I've hungered for your touch ” you realize that there is already behind it a deep pain for the lack of someone who is no longer there and even of someone who will never come back. This song talks about a long time of waiting and the emptiness caused by it. “Unchained Melody” de The Righteous Brothers es como una súplica de anhelo profundo por un amor que ya no está, de alguien que extraña inmensamente a la persona que ama, a la que es todo en su vida.
