Cool new contest!
Wow, so many song to pick from, I basically listen to music all day at my desk during work hours. It may be cliche, especially for people from around my generation, but I'll go with Smells like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. I remember back in the early 90s, I was just a young kid, but my brother was quite a few years older than me and he showed up in my room with a cassette tape (google it if you're too young to know what that is...) and was like "You got to listen to this...". He used to do that sometimes, maybe to try and make me look cool at school (well, that didn't work !lolz), but this time, we listened to the whole thing in one go. It was very new in France, probably a couple months after it already blew up in the US, that's when I discovered Nirvana with the infamous Nevermind album. I was hooked and to this day, even though I usually listen to much heavier and more metal bands, Nirvana stays one of my favorites. With Kurt Cobain gone, maybe that doesn't fit well in the #AliveAndThriving theme, but it does to me...
