This weekend I was in the city itself, there was no day outing planned as I had to finish some house chores. After completing the work during the evening time, me and hubby decided to step out and get some fresh air. We planned to go to the beach but this time it was a different one and not the one we normally go to. This one is far from the city, around 40 minutes drive from home. This long drive is also very enjoyable.
When we reached there, it was a surprise for us, the whole place was decorated with lights. Normally it's not the case, but since it's the month of Ramadan and very soon there will be Eid so I guess they have put up the lights and decor to gear up for the coming festival.
The place was indeed looking very nice with all of the glitter it had. The walking path here is very good, I enjoy coming to this place, because it's away from the city so not many people visit here. But now this one is also getting popular and during this visit I found more people then whenever I have visited in the past.
All of this set up has been done now.
Some pictures that I clicked of the light decorations.
These guys rent out bicycles if anyone is interested to ride, they rent on hourly basis and it needs to be used only in this area.
They have fancy ones for all age groups.
The beach out here is lovely, and so empty. It's a big one also compared to the other city beaches.
Some lighting decorations
I love the ambiance of this place.
After taking a nice stroll for almost an hour, then it was tummy time. We had not planned for dinner in this place but some of the beach restaurants were very inviting so then we thought of having it here itself. Since the weather is nice, outdoor seating is preferred.
Here is our food, some chicken and shrimps. The quantity was too good and we had not anticipated that, so it turned out to be more food then what we could eat. In the end we took a doggy bag and then next day for lunch I had the same thing.
It was a nice cozy evening, with good views, ambiance and food. A good leisure time for me and hubby after a hectic day at home.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
