RE: About How Sonia Almost Get Lost Near The Non-existent Bridge. Sonia and Kyiv Mini-sculptures Series

It was so strange to read about the war and traffic on the same post.

Agree. In Feb and Mar 2022 when Russian troops stood aroud Kyiv and was constant shelling the city looked like dead. I remember driving along empty streets, there was no rush, drivers were careful and polite, trafic lights were all off but there were no accidents...
Now Kyiv is shelled rarely and we are more prepared, and adapted somehow, so many peoole returned to their homes. No place like home, even during the war.

Thank you for your words. I wonder, where do you live because what you said about expensive constructions there is just like here.

Sort:

I am from Venezuela. We have no wars, but politics have us living like we were on one for decades now. It's a strange country were people is struggling, devastated but yet happy and celebrating.

And those constructions started so long ago, my mom worked when she was 16 on the admin office of one of the companies, she had me at 21, I'm 28 and that thing will never be finished and still has administrative offices 😅

Even in dark times, we need something to motivate us to carry on.

No way! What a shame, this is even worse than here 😊
