A couple busy Wednesdays has kept me hopping and walking so it is about time to drop a #wednesdaywalk! Championed by our friend @tattoodjay and the Make me Smile Collaboration challenge lead by @elizacheng, this is for everyone.
This week, I am loving the growth on the trails and enjoying the downtown before tourist season.

2 Weeks of Spring

This is where I was 2 weeks ago and hope I am again in 2 weeks. Dog parkin' no matter the season or weather.
This is that same path 2 short weeks later. Plenty of light green growth with the intermittent sunshine and rain. No mosquitos yet which will feel like a blessing in a couple more weeks after the risk of frost is gone.
I have 100 pictures from this place over the last year and a bit and have been teasing a 4-season animated gif too long. We have a long weekend coming up so maybe a bit of killing the procrastination list after finishing up the garden.
Birdhouse tree has almost a full head of hair.
Mild temperatures in the high teens with cool winds and no bugs make the lengthening evenings the best.

This guy couldn't care less. Tongue out and getting his steps in on the path.

Downtown
It wouldn't be summer without construction around here. Fresh sidewalk and a little boulevard planting will have this little street ready for tourists within the month. I just like how the purple buds from the trees were raining down in the breeze while I was strolling under it to my meeting.
Across the street, the sky looks like a shift back to rain over the old armory. I have never been in that building but sure love to behold it from the sidewalk. Seems equal parts useless and historically significant these days.
I swear I intended to take more pictures downtown but my brain carries me around during the work day.

A Good Humpday
The sun holds plenty of warmth, the shade isn't as chilling and the leaves have sprung on everything that is alive. Great for the middle of the week, knowing we are only a couple more days until a long weekend!

Thank you for taking another Wednesday walk with me in my cool little Canadian town. A big summer on tap and a bit of adventure in the cards for a summer of Wedswalks.
