Wow these are some solid and impactful shots when you bring the contrast out with the black & white!

The depth of field on the coffee shot is pretty powerful. Makes me contemplate my coffee this morn and let the background fade away as I focus on my thoughts and my brain wakes up.

The cloud shot is downright menacing and I couldn't imagine it would look that mean in colour!

I used to convert images to black & white for Monomad Mondays back in the day but haven't in a while. I wonder which of my recent shots might translate well.

        Black and white shots are pretty cool as they tend to make the observer look more deeply and that's a good thing. Thanks for your nice comments, for a non-photographer like me it's cool to get some nice comments now and then.

              Yes I am the same. Happy to be a hobbyist to add colour to my blog but you do something long enough, even with just a smart phone, and you get some chops!
