Nada más importante y valioso que la familia. Mi familia está en otro país a kilometros de distancia, desde hace 9 años la familia de mi novio me adoptó como parte de los suyos y desde ese día no hay un día que no me sienta agradecida.

A pesar que extraño a mis padres ellos me hacen sentir especial. Nos reunimos cada fin de semana y celebramos cada cumpleaños. Estamos en los momentos felices y en los dificiles, apoyándonos como costumbre.

There is nothing more important and valuable than family. My family is miles away in another country, but 9 years ago my boyfriend's family adopted me as part of theirs and since that day there is not a day that goes by that I don't feel grateful.

Even though I miss my parents they make me feel special. We get together every weekend and celebrate every birthday. We are there for each other in the happy times and in the hard times, supporting each other as usual.

Y así celebramos el cumpleaños de mamita Iraida, ella es la segunda mamá de mi novio, lo cuidó desde que estaba pequeño. Es el pilar de una hermosa familia. Rodeada siempre de personas que la aman incondicionalmente. Entre risas, chistes y cuentos pasamos una noche agradable.

And so we celebrated mamita Iraida's birthday, she is my boyfriend's second mom, she took care of him since he was little. She is the pillar of a beautiful family. Always surrounded by people who love her unconditionally. Between laughter, jokes and stories we spent a pleasant evening.

¡Llegó el momento más esperado por todos los invitados! la torta jajaja aparte que la decoración quedo hermosa, estaba divina. Era una torta tres leches con fresas, la favorita de la cumpleañera (la mía también). Todos disfrutamos de un pedazo incluso para llevar.

The most awaited moment for all the guests arrived! The cake hahaha besides the decoration was beautiful, it was divine. It was a tres leches cake with strawberries, the birthday girl's favorite (mine too). We all enjoyed a piece even to take away.
