I will always choose to stay in an urban area over a rural area , I have experienced living in both environments and they are good in their unique ways, both have advantages and disadvantages.
The city life is fun, exposes you to numerous diversities of life and gives easy access to opportunities , but when you consider the cost of livelihood in the city and as a young person trying to grow financially, you would realize the city isn't meant for you yet, until you are financially buoyant.

I can vividly remember crying, when my family moved to a semi rural area, it's 30km away from the big city , the area wasn't fully developed , they still had companies, businesses and fancy buildings and places, just like the city . But I couldn't forget the experiences and diversity I had at the city, regardless of the fact that I wasn't fully grown then, but staying in a rural area, taught me alot, I learnt about the simplicity of life staying in a rural area.
One of the things I like about rural areas is the closeness it brings one to nature.
When I was at an urban area, I purchase everything from the market at high prices, there was zero opportunity to cultivate crops or learn how to plant simple fruits, vegetables or rear live stocks , never had a little garden where I could plant, it was when I moved to a rural area, I began to understand agriculture, when we first relocated to a rural area all I did was look and got marveled each time my mom plants a seed or stem at the backyard and in few months you get bountiful harvest, but with time I engaged with her, it could be watering the plant or weeding, but I'm usually lazy at it .
The way I learnt to groom live stocks without fear marveled me , the old me use to be scared of chicken, but when my parents built a cage and filled them with little chicks and I watched them grow, I learnt to train them too, if I had been in the urban environment , I don't think I would have understood the practical aspect of agriculture or how it works .
I just learnt to appreciate the beauty of nature from staying in a rural part.
In the urban area, everyone was more focused on going to work, focused on the hustle, but a rural environment taught me togetherness, humility, respect, love and brought me closer to my culture.
It was funny how 80% of the people that live in the rural environment, work at the city, they go there daily, although in my case , the city is 30km away, so it's less than 30mins ride.
It was still a busy morning, just like the big city.
I have experienced life in both places, and I really love the city life, as a young girl who wants to get and see the best of life and embrace opportunities, a girl who wants to communicate and meet people who are more exposed to the world, the city would be the best place for me.
A good friend would always tell me, that I can grow anywhere and I shouldn't let the environment limit me, I should speak positivety to my environment, wether urban or rural, and I can live the best life anywhere, that's one reason I still believe I can do well wherever I find myself.
The rural area also motivated me to invest in agriculture too.
If I get the money I'm dreaming of today, I would relocate to the urban part , but I won't forget my rural area, so fast, I would even own a business and trade it at the city at high cost, I learnt alot from staying at the rural part too.
