Namastรฉ, brother! Very cool photos, @untilwelearn! Although I don't know that particular species, it looks like a member of the Malvaceae family, which includes Hybiscus and mallows. ๐ ๐ ๐ โจ ๐ค
I was also a bit confused with the results of Google Lens, so instead of writing its name, I left it to you guys. But whatever it is, it's really different and attractive to look at. Thank you for appreciating it! ๐๐
Some plant identification apps can be quite helpful, and can accurately identify a good number of plants, but they can also go awry quite a bit too. I am familiar with many, many plants, but there are hundreds of thousands of species, so I don't know them all...yet! Yes, I agree, the form of the seed pods is very interesting, as well as lovely! You're very welcome, absolutely! ๐ ๐ ๐ โจ ๐ค
Although usually I get the correct information every time through Google Lens, but sometimes it also confuses me. I know such apps and they are really helpful but not 100% accurate because their data is also probably sourced from Google. ๐
That's good to know. I've never used Google Lens, as I try to avoid anything from Google. Actually the plant identification apps that I use have their own databases, with the species analized and chosen by AI. ๐ ๐ ๐ โจ ๐ค
