I really think that there's a team on #Ecency who manually checks most comments if they are too short (such as comments with only token tipping commands) or copy-paste, which they will exclude from the engagement count. 🤔

That's because I noticed that the engagement counts aren't updated in real time (more like every few hours). 🤓😏

Yes, I think that is accurate. I have noticed that there is indeed a lag between what I do here, and when it shows up in the Leaderboard. It makes sense that such would be the case. Fine with me, as although I do use a few repetitive comments for certain posts, they are not at all my usual modus operandi. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I wonder what types of transactions on Hive the #Ecency team considers as "activity" for their Leaderboards, apart from publishing comments and posts using the Ecency frontend. 🤔🤓

Reblogging posts !INDEED get counted on #Ecency Points, but given that it is so easy to do compared to commenting (that doesn't contain only token tipping commands and/or copy-paste content), I think that they don't get counted towards the Activity Count for the Ecency Leaderboards. 🤔🤯😅

True, reblogging is very easy for sure. I don't really know exactly how 'activity' and 'engagement' are determined and calculated then...lol! It's a great Hive mystery! All I do know is that I generally do quite well! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
