Supermachine provides a collection of self hosted AI image models. Not always up to par to big models such as MidJourney, but still rather nice.
Grok 3 is indeed going VERY strong. My first preference still always goes to ChatGPT, but the 01 or 03 models, but for image generation I already almost always go to Grok now, as they don't look so... well... OpenAI-ish :-D

Yes indeed, Grok (but the new ChatGPT model O3 as well) is great at coding, yet, it is still only a helper for me. It can code basic stuff pretty good, but if you go advanced, well... nope :-D
There would be several ways in which AI could be put to use in Hive as well indeed, curation for instance, or spamfiltering...

And I think this needs to be discussed as well. Currently the mindset on Hive is rather strictly NO AI, which is understandable in a way, but then again... well... debatable. I think what this is currently leading to is a distinction about the people who are use a free ai model that is easily accessible, and now getting blacklisted for everything, and the people who can afford the money for an advanced AI model, which is often no longer recognizable that it is an AI photo or anything...
Same with other topics as NSFW content.
The world is changing fast these days, we need to be prepared...

Yes, I agree, it definitely does need to be discussed at lengths. I'm not so crazy about comments and posts with AI-generated text, but as long as it's clarified when imagines are AI-generated, I don't have much problem with that. AI could be used in very helpful ways in all sorts of things on Hive, which fascinates me. Yeah, the lower-end AI models are very easily detected. The higher-end versions, probably not so much. Indeed, things are changing faster than ever, and anticipating and preparing as much as possible is a very good idea for sure! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
