Conspiracy theorists say the media masters control the finance, media and politics under any democracy as they hold absolute power over what is happening in the country. I don't know about any of this cause I am too dumb to understand all of this. But maybe there is a shadow group of people behind any country that control everything behind the scenes.
you're smart in my opinion and yes there's always a secret power but one common thing about them is MONEY that's all. They use their money coupled with greed or lust of politicians to influence political decisions and end up controlling everyone

Well brother from as much as I know with my politics research, these are men and women of power and influence, if anyone wants to enter politics in the future, the wicked rich people behind the scenes can make them win but in exchange, control as puppets like you rightly said. It's best to always be genuine and avoid getting tempted to take persuasive deals from them. When it comes to direct confrontation of men of power, it's a really risky thing to do because they somehow control the law and can bend it against you even if they're clearly the guilty ones
