I don't use a grill because it's too much trouble when cooking for only one person. That being said, though, I had an old-timey charcoal grill back in my younger days, but we had a nicer gas grill after being married a few years.

Oddly enough as it might seem to some people, grilling is virtually solely in the domain of menfolk in my part of the world. Men light them, huddle together around them as they cook, and clean/store them later. Women don't touch 'em. 😂
