Bruv, Now What Is This?

Well here I thought I was going to be working on transmissions and transmissions only, with the exception of differentials and transfer cases! Basically anything with a gear inside!

Now why do I have a fuel tank in front of me? Dude why?

Well you'll never guess why! A few weeks back we received a police vehicle and it was asked of us to just swap out one injector and be done with it. Hmmm yeah easier said than done, right? It's always like that!

That injector they supplied was buggered, it kept over-fueling the cylinder and then it started running away!

Now we have to do all four of them and clean the fuel tank!

Pressure Gets The Job Done!

Pressure always gets the job done! Of-course I used the pressure washer to get rid of all that diesel and dirt.

Why what's the problem? We are going to clean the tank! Laughs! Isn't that what I'm busy with?

I also don't know why I have to be the one doing the cleaning! Oh wait!

That's How You Lose A Job!

Now here's the actual reason why I am doing it.

We phoned the place that usually cleans the radiators and well fuel tanks for us, they came and picked it up and five minutes later they were back.

A stupid reason to be honest, they wanted us to remove the fuel pump from the tank. Now if we do that, we might as well clean it ourselves right?
Nothing fancy to it really, the tank is plastic and it's fairly easy to get in everywhere, really it was! I'll show you later!

I was shocked at how clean I was able to get it!

Damn The Tank Is Dirty Again!

So this is the thing they were too scared to remove! Okay rather the cap on the tank behind it!

Here is the thing! If it didn't break with me then it should not break with anyone else! Unless you don't check what you do!

Maybe that's just me!

I'm Content!

So is Bossman! I think this one can be re-fitted after I re-installed the fuel pump!

Why waste money sending it in for cleaning, they wont do much more than that.
