Friendship is a valuable privilege that one should pay attention to. To put it simply, having supportive friends is beneficial.
Genuine friendship is like golden nectar: a unique condiment that gives everything a sense of ease, lightness, and groundedness. In a single sentence, friendships can signify different things to different people. For some, the most important thing is to stay until the party ends, not just during its peak. Some people view friendship as their lifeblood, a kind of color, or healing energy.
Friendship is the actual currency of life.
Strong bonds and meaningful friendships are the most crucial paths to recovery and happiness. As I get older, I realize that friendship isn't determined by who I spend the most time with or how long I've known someone. It involves finding and establishing connections with those who foster my personal growth and allow me the liberty to be who I am entirely—those who create space for my development.
Having friends who give you confidence is a sign of friendship. Even though they occasionally can't understand what you're going through or your point of view, they still listen. The friendships I have made and maintained since graduating are significant to me. When I was younger, I learned the importance of true friendships from wise people. They would not stop telling me there were only a few true friends. I didn't believe that to be true. Being social and engaging with new people has always been enjoyable to me. I have moved several times in my adult life, and each move brought amazing friendships and novel experiences.
I often consider myself to be a people collector. Over the years, I have maintained several friendships. We occasionally communicate via text, phone, and Christmas card exchanges. These friendships bring me joy and gratitude when I reflect on our shared experiences. Once, I made the mistake of thinking that many were true friends. I never considered differentiating between "friendship" and "true friendship."
It gets strange as you get older, and life happens. The unasked-for advice I received years ago gained new meaning. My inner circle, my true friends, and other people began to emerge. My circle then became more minor, but my vision got better. I realized that loyalty and dedication are more potent than statistics. However, as long as it doesn't compromise their moral character, you can get through difficult times with your friends if you can be honest.
