What happens to those companies that enter a field where there is basically unlimited TAM? How does that change the stucture of how business is conducted?
In this video I discuss the world of robotics and how competition is eliminated when the only constraint is production. The demand is virtually unlimited for robots since economic productivity jumps with each one implemented.

I guess one of the biggest things these companies need to do is to build and train robots that can build these robots. That way, each one produced can contribute to the production, and it can also serve as a way to test if the robots have any defects.
The manufacturing is going to have to be done by those who know how to build stuff.
I dont see start ups being able to scale it. They will have to outsource that aspect.
I agree. I see startups trying to focus on specialized/customized ones anyways to try and make their robots more enticing to buyers. Maybe have a gimmick or something.
