This is a topic I have been meaning to touch upon.

Markets do what they do. They go up and down. Technological trends are a bit different.

In this video I discuss how the Dotcom is a prime example of the difference between the two. This is something we have to keep separate when considering cryptocurrency.

That is an interesting comparison. Markets feel harder to predict, because while it should be simple, there are a lot of factors that affect it in different ways. Technology on the other hand is a bit linear and easy to predict. It is mostly looking at the software and hardware, and their continuous increase in performance and speed. From there it is a matter of imagining where those can be applied.

I didn't really get the gist, aside the dotcom is there really any other that didn't experience the up and down nature of the market, just reasoning alone makes me believe the internet would have experience stagnated growth at some point, won't we count that as a down.

Aside it having a stagnated growth, surely there isn't any other way it can go down as people rapidly adapt to using it, I guess all relevant techs acts the same. Speaking of such how come the Nividia a technological based company doesn't represent this, instead it acts like every other stock?.
