Why would money not be a part of the items to take along? Talk about not travelling with my phone and that would be understandable. Understandable in the sense that I would assume that it is expected that I relish every moment from my trip and not get to drown in my phone business, consequently missing out on the fun that the trip should be. But taking out money? Naaaa!
The thing there is, money is just important. As, with momey, I can buy whatever it is that I want. Well, I know it's unlikely that I would ever embark on a trip penniless, so, I'd just get down to what is asked of me.
The lack of details on what the scope of the journey is about and destination has me confused and somewhat excited(I think, 'thrulled' is the word).
Details, though, make planning a little less tedious.
In the absence of that, the three important things I would go on a trip with would be
A camera
I fancy taking photos a lot. There's not a memory from a time when I ever visited a place or did something remarkable that I do not have documented in my gallery. Surely, going to somewhere new implies being in a different environment. And definitely, I want to have pictures about the places there, the people, food, road, skies, nature, just about every single moment that would remind me of that time. I would want a picture of each and every thing that I can; the greens, the left outs, the monuments, pedestrians, abstract, whatever!
And, i must admit, I don't want to go back home without images and videos with which to corroborate the stories that I would share.
The thought of being somewhere amazing and not being able to captures some interesting photographs is unsettling. That just cannot be me.
I'm not even a professional photographer -just some guy who has held the digital camera and can work himself through the basics,- but the idea of capturing perspectives via my lense is thrilling. I'd have anyone around take pictures of me too, if he/she will. I'm a fine guy and I love to admire myself in the pictures I take.
Next up on this list would be....boots!
Football boots. It would mean repeating over and again if I mentioned how well I love the game of football, wouldn't it?
Well, I don't see how I would visit a new location and not join the local clubs around or even the guys around the neighbourhood I'd be at to play football. I like to explore, even with football and it would be fun to just play the game with new people.
Plus, football gives me peace and puts me in better mood. Since I don't have my phone or any of the other things I would otherwise travel with for a better experience, I can as well drown in what I love.
It's an unusual choice, I know. This is just me.
And finally.....Vital documents.
How can I forget? You don't think that I don't know that these are essential? There's not many places that I can go without my documents particularly if it's an international trip. As we know, "no documents, no trip," unless it's a national trip. And even trips within a country, I would still need to move about with certain valid means of identification, just in case. They're necessary travel paraphernalia.
Now that I have made my list, please tell me that food, drinks and entertainment would be well provided for.
Cause, if it wouldn't? How do I cope? This might just mean that I made some wrong selection. I don't know.
You, tell me!
