Well, this is a disappointment, but not unexpected. Though I guess it's only disappointing if one enjoys the social part of Hive, which I do. I also understand that The Hive chain has these other projects, like the stuff you're doing with INCOME or the games that are being developed, that can bring the chain (and token) value.
