More flower pictures today 🌼 the cool weather and rain has been kind to late season blooms. Squash blossoms are still coming and my neighbor's hibiscus is enormous.
This hibiscus bloom is probably 8 inches across, the size of a salad plate!
These yellow blooms are pumpkin. We planted pumpkin in a bed on the other side of the garden but the vines found the fence, climbed to the top then started around to this side. Better evening sun now that the sun is lower in the sky I guess.
I have occasionally eaten squash blossoms in restaurants but never tried any from our garden.
But they are lovely flowers.
