Highest Funded Projects Of This Summer

in LeoFinance3 months ago

I am constantly watching new projects, especially those receiving significant funding. When big venture capital firms invest large amounts of money, it signals that the project is doing something right, and that the sector the project specializes in is likely to attract attention. When a sector gains attention, money and big opportunities usually follow. Of course, when venture capital firms invest early, the profit margins for regular people may be lower, as VCs tend to invest heavily and then sell off at the token's launch, leading to a sharp price drop afterward. This has been the trend over the past year, particularly with Layer 2 projects, which became saturated. The market for these projects was brutal. However, let's focus on the projects that received the most funding this summer.

Sahara AI

As the name suggests, this project is an artificial intelligence startup that integrates blockchain technology. Like many others, Sahara AI aims to revolutionize the space and differentiate itself from the competition. Not much is known about how they plan to accomplish this, as they have yet to release a white paper or a lite paper. However, I’m keeping an eye on it because they received $43 million in funding from big names like Pantera Capital, Binance Labs, and Samsung Next.

Morpho

Morpho is a lending protocol designed to make lending, staking, and earning more efficient and secure than any other protocol. Morpho raised $50 million in funding from top investors such as Pantera Capital, Coinbase Ventures, and a16z crypto.

Bridge

Bridge is a new payment platform that uses stablecoins to make transferring money easier than ever. It also allows users to create their own stablecoins. I like their website and what I’m seeing from the team. While payment platforms already exist and are widely used, I believe this one has the potential to be acquired by a big bank or organization like Visa. The company raised $58 million in funding, with Sequoia as the largest investor.

Story

Story is a Layer 1 network that allows creators to license, remix, and monetize intellectual property. To achieve this, they developed the "Proof of Creativity" protocol, which makes the process seamless. I love the idea behind this project and might research it further to write a standalone post. Story secured $80 million in funding.

Sentient

Sentient is an open-source AI platform based in Dubai. It recently raised $85 million from Founders Fund, Pantera Capital, and others. However, there’s very little information available online, and I couldn’t find much about them. It seems like they are in a very early stage, so either expectations for the project are extremely high, or they managed to convince their investors.

Story sounds interesting!

Yes and it received a lot of money that means they have something promising

I wonder if it would be available for content creators, similar to hive.
