This video is eleven days old but I didn't notice it until today. Crews already completed day two of recce and I guess that tomorrow is the last day of it (making notes of special stages for crews). Wednesday is always the shortest day of recce which finishes approx at 2pm. After that, crews drive to the service park and prepare the written notes with watching of videos from stages.
Yeah, it is always something not perfect and needs to be repaired and rewritten. Do you know why co-drivers have pens in their hand while reading competitively? Because they sometimes have to repair the notes while going full speed. Yeah, my usual co-driver from the recent past was never able for that, unfortunately...
If you see that during the first run some corner is written too optimistic, you need to repair the notes because there is a big chance of crash on the 2nd pass. It can also be the opposite case. If your note is too careful, you must repair it, otherwise you are too slow...
Anyway, Estonian Ott Tanak won the 2019 WRC driver's crown and he knows everything about it. Here we have his video from pre-event testing.
