What a tough battle it was between two leaders at the World Rally Championship table - Championship leader Elfyn Evans and eight-time champion Seb Ogier. And Ogier showed why he won the title eight times. And he would win it more times if he decided no to have a part time seasons. Also that season 2019 at Citroen was a crap because that car wasn't good enough to win the title.
This season he has a part time job again but he is that good that he is in contest of winning it even with three or four rounds less then Evans. OK, Evans is still leading the Championship by three points but he is a road cleaner at gravel of Saudi Arabia later the month, and that's not an easy job.
Toyota is in the story of their own beating Hyundai (and M-Sport) usually. This time they scored 1-2-3, with Sami Pajari in 3rd place overall (first time at podium for him).
Hyundai the best and only driver was Ott Tanak in 4th place, and with old spec of rhe car. He doesn't have any chance of winning the title anymore now. But the story of weekend was Tanak taking a break of WRC for a season (or more). I guess that he is pissed off at Hyundai and Toyota have different plans for Rovanpera's seat.
M-Sport Ford's Gregoire Munster finished 5th in front of Kalle Rovanpera who damaged suspension of his Toyota Yaris Rally1 car on Friday and lost lots of time after being dropped to 27th place.
Last week of November is reserved for Saudi Arabia event and then we will know who's gonna be the champion. Let the best win - as always...
