Hello friends, I hope you're having a lovely day. Today I want to once again take a few minutes to share a reflection I captured with my phone, which will be my entry for the Reflection Hunters Contest ~ Round 226. I hope you enjoy my reflection and the story behind it.
The photo I'm sharing is the reflection of the beginning of a solar eclipse—the last one visible from my hemisphere. If I remember correctly, it was a partial eclipse during the month of April, and the weather conditions were perfect for viewing it. One of the most important tips when watching an eclipse is to use proper protection. In this case, the image was projected onto a glass surface for added safety. This also allowed me to take a photo that I really liked, especially the combination of the sun with the glass’s own color. It's as if the glass mediates between nature and us as observers, protecting us from the danger of the sun—while at the same time, the glass is an incredibly fragile element. It's a shame I was only able to recover this photo from that day, though I remember I had taken many during the different phases of the eclipse.
Well friends, that’s all for today—the sun being eclipsed, the reflection in the mirror, and us watching. I hope you have a very beautiful day, and until the next post. Bye!
¡Chau!
