Hello friends and to everyone who enjoys the universe of Holozing in one way or another, I hope you’re having a lovely day! It had been a while since I last participated in the community, and I really wanted to be inspired by this beautiful universe to create something nice. And since there’s nothing I love more than the kawaii and adorable, I was inspired by one of the cutest creatures in Holozing—yes, I was inspired by the strong and powerful Zappity, that rabbit with big ears. I imagined it as a little baby with a big scarf, because the cold is already approaching and it has to stay warm.
Hola amigos y a todos los que disfrutamos del universo de Holozing de una forma u otra, espero que estén teniendo un lindo día! Hacía ya un rato que no participaba en la comunidad y tenía muchos deseos de inspirarme en este bello universo para crear algo lindo, y como no hay nada que me guste más que lo kawaii y adorable me inspiré en una de las criaturas más bonitas de Holozing, sí, me inspiré en el fuerte y poderoso Zappity, ese conejo de grandes orejas. Lo imaginé como si fuese un pequeño bebé con una gran bufanda, y es que ya se está acercando el frío y tiene que permanecer calentito.
This was the final result of my drawing, but I will also share the creative process. I made my drawing by combining the tools Ibis Paint, where I did the sketch and part of the coloring, and Photoshop for the details and brightness effects. Also, as usual, I’m sharing the character in PNG format without a background in case you want to use it at some point.
Este fue el resultado final de mi dibujo, pero también les compartiré el proceso creativo. Realicé mi dibujo combinando las herramientas Ibis Paint, donde hice el boceto y parte del coloreado, y Photoshop para los detalles y efectos de brillo. También, como es costumbre, les comparto el personaje en formato PNG sin fondo por si lo quieren usar en algún momento.
I’m showing you my sketch as it turned out. I really like the effect of the pencil-style brush I used. Maybe later I’ll make a complete drawing with this brush because I love the texture.
Les muestro mi boceto como quedó, me gusta mucho el efecto del pincel estilo lápiz que usé. Quizás más adelante haga un dibujo completo con este pincel porque me encanta la textura.
After finishing the sketch, I did the line art using a solid 1.4 px brush. I also played a bit with the line value and pressure to obtain different lines of varying thickness. I tried to keep all the shapes of the drawing closed so that coloring would be easier.
Después de terminar el boceto, hice el line art, utilizando un pincel sólido de 1.4 px. Además jugué un poco con el valor lineal y la presión para obtener distintas líneas de distinto grosor. Traté de mantener cerradas todas las formas del dibujo para poder colorear más fácilmente.

The next step was applying the colors. Since I closed each shape of my drawing, it was very simple to color using the paint bucket. For each color I used a different layer, so later I could create volume over those shapes with blending modes and layer masks.
Lo siguiente fue aplicar los colores. Como cerré cada forma de mi dibujo fue muy simple colorear utilizando el bote de pintura. Para cada color ocupé una capa distinta, así más tarde creé volumen sobre esas formas con los modos de fusión y máscaras de capa.
