The lake is full of fights and drama for this #featheredfriday

These geese appear to be fighting over the same chick.

Keep away I claimed her first!

She will never fall for you I have more charm and charisma!

The poor wood duck had to escape the area as the geese fought each other.

The white heron looked on in horror. I'd better get out of here before the whole flock starts fighting.

Off he flew to the other side of the lake. Man this neighborhood has really gone downhill.

I was hoping for a nice quiet lake to fish on but these geese have scared them all into the reeds!

I should have stayed in Florida, even the alligators don't act this bad.

Meanwhile a grackle is testing out a strange new device in his high tech home.

This device used high technology to manipulate the anger level in various bird species. Can a grackle really be trusted with this technology? Apparently not.

That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)

It looks like there's always drama when Canada geese are around. This heron looks so graceful in flight.

Yeah I suspect they were fighting over nesting territory. We even have a couple of Canada geese on our building balcony nesting right now. The heron hopefully found a more peaceful lake to fish in.

They've become urbanites :)

Suburbanites and even urbanites, they nest in downtown chicago too.

The wood duck was trying its best to escape and hide, but was caught on camera😅

Ha yeah they are too camera shy to begin with, then the geese scare them away when they are around.

Thanks :)

I would have scooted out of there with the heron. Damn geese 🙄

They are more plentiful than sparrows around here. My neighbors even have some nesting in her balcony again.
