Durian and Uloy is just two of so many fruits that I haven't tried yet. When I heard that Durian has this strong smell, some even call it bad smell, it same with Uloy, I decided not to eat them even though I can't really smell them. In my mind, foods that smells bad is not good. Yes, I judge them easily without giving them a chance. Until now I haven't tried Durian, but for Uloy, I had the chance to eat it when a relative visit us with a pasalubong of fruits and foods including Uloy or Marang. I knew this as Uloy because that's what my family call it. How about in your place?

Uloy is really similar to Kamansi or Breadnut in appearance. But the inside is really different. They also look similar to Jackfruit, this one is so good to eat when it's ripe. While the Uloy, it is really just a fruit, I think? But still smells, I am sad that I didn't even get the chance to smell it even though it smell bad, I still want to know the smell of it. The oldies said it smells strong and they don't really like it. I become more curious after hearing them said that

Now, let's talk about the fruit inside, I find the inside of Uloy really unique, I like how all these garlic like fruit was attached to the middle part. And that middle part is like so hairy no. I remember a pups fur in it, haha. Is it just me? And just look how white those things are, they're beautiful! The oldies said when you eat those, you can't smell them anymore. But how about the taste?

Seriously, all I can taste is it's sweet like sugar. It is sweet, soft and really juicy too. I had to chew them well though Because I feel like i'm chewing a cotton, haha. Is it really like that? Or are we supposed to just swallow them?

By the way, it has a small seeds inside of that soft pulp. I tried searching it in google, if they are also edible and it is. We can eat it boiled or roasted. But we didn't do either if the two, haha. The seeds is kinda slimy, no matter how long we cleaned it, its still slimy -even soaked it in salt water but its still slimy, don't know why. .

Anyways, I enjoy this with rhe oldies and mama. There's not much inside of it but we still enjoy eating a few of it. I actually eat three of those, three pulp I mean, haha. I won't eat it if Mommy D didn't convinced me. Lol. I just didn't feel like eating it. But good thing I tried it. At least I experience eating it.

I bought a few of these to Mama, just like me this is also her first time trying it. And I think she likes it too └( ^ω^). And seriously, I feel good after trying it. At least I already experience eating it. And what's amazing is I get to enjoy Uloy with the oldies and Mama. Do you have this fruit in your country?
