We had a favorite restaurant in Pinamalayan before, but the last time I ate there, I didn't enjoy much of their food. I ordered Giniling that time, actually, it tasted good, but I just don't like it when the food is overly sweet. I even joked that time to Mama that maybe they are rich in sugar, that all of their dishes are sweet. I also like a little sweetness in some dishes, but only just a little and not too much. I also like it when there's a salty dish, like a dish with no sugar in it.
I want my food more balanced, like if the main dish is salty, then there should be a little sweet side dish. I can eat a lot if my food's like that. But if everything is just sweet, that would be too overwhelming for me, too much, I say. I don't like that. And so, we decided to explore some restaurants and carinderias in Pinamalayan. We still visit this particular restaurant but only to check if they have something new on their menu.

We actually checked on them during our food hunt last month. And just like the usual, it's always full packed, most of the customers are at the front choosing their foods. They have a second floor, and that's the place we haven't checked yet. And there's no more change to check it because we didn't eat in that place. But here, here's half of the dishes they are serving that day. They even have goat dishes. I am not too fond of that, though, I just don't like it. Do you like goat dishes? w(°o°)w

We also checked some other places just to look for a restaurant where we could enjoy our lunch. I think we check all of them on this part, lol. Even though it's hot, as long as we could get great lunch, we'll walk in this scorching hot weather outside.

In the end we chose this restaurant because of this handsome doggo, lol. Just kidding, it's actually because of the Lumpiang Shanghai, he's the second reason, lol. I love that they are pet friendly, I couldn't take a photo of it, but they also have a little one inside, UwU.

So here's the food we ordered, we have two servings of rice, which cost 30 pesos. Then 2 different kind of Lumpia, which is the veggie rolls and Shanghai with pork. We also get half servings of Giniling or Ground Pork. And I didn't take photos of it, but they also have free soup, which is from Tinola. It's some kind of chicken soup with ginger, it goes really well with the dish we chose.

Here's the crunchy lumpia, the pork is yummy, but it needs more fillings. But because of the price, I think it is just right, considering that pork is also expensive now. These five pieces of Shanghai cost 20 pesos. As for the veggie rolls with Ubod (heart of palm) in them, they taste the best too. It's very tasty, the filling, I mean. They also give us vinegar to dip our lumpia. As for the Giniling, this is the Giniling that I want. Not too sweet and just have enough sweetness on it. Another thing is, they put fresh grapes on it instead of raisins. Mama loves it. ╮(^▽^)╭
Overall, we enjoy our lunch in this restaurant. We'll eat here again if ever we visit Pinamalayan. As for the price of everything we ate, we paid 120 pesos or $2.09. Very cheap, with that price, we had a yummy and enjoyable lunch outside.
