Mama excitedly left home to go visit the nearest ATM machine this morning to withdraw her pension. I got a little busy, that's why I couldn't check on her immediately. Then I heard her call me from outside, asking something. Then I learned that her ATM card has no money yet again. Actually, she's on the second batch to get her SSS pension, and it's supposed to to be sent every 16th of the month in her ATM card. But she didn't receive anything on the 16th, so she thought it was moved again. No choice but to wait, so she waited for the end of the month to arrive only to be disappointed again, its really a sad news.
I saw how stressed and worried she was, and she's surely thinking again about the food for her pets. Yeah, she worries more about her pets than herself, like seriously. She's thinking about herself too, but the priority is her pet. Anyways, she asked for some cash this morning, she wants to go to the bank to check an update about her ATM which is 40 minutes away from home. And unfortunately, she won't receive her pension this month until February. She made a mistake when updating her SSS pension before, and that resulted in this. She went back home sad and really down.
So to cheer her up, I decided to ask her to go have a walk with me on this hot day. Yep, after the rain yesterday, here's Mr. Sunny again. It's hot, I know. I am also experiencing cramps due to my period, but Mother dear needs some cheering, so we had our walk in this scorching heat of the sun. Lol. I told her we'll have to buy some wet food for our cat because Nika is not eating, and she only eats wet food like cat treats. But seriously, the main purpose of this walk was to withdraw some money.
I have my HBD on my wallet here, and I am really glad I didn't use it for something. I converted my 25 HBD and sold it, I couldn't cover the money she's supposed to get, but it surely made her happy.
Anyways, we're still looking for a wet food, but unfortunately we couldn't find a wet food in any pet shop. I mean, there is available but different brand and it's big. We just need a small one in a small pouch. We just ran out of wet food, but we already ordered some online, there's just a little delay.
We also go to the market because Mama needs to buy rice for her pet. See, when I handed the money to her, the first thing she did was buy rice. After that, we stop by the "Tiangge-an," and we find this very affordable sweet potato. Mama bought 1 kilo for herself, that's 45 per kilo. It's been a long time since we last had it, its price before was ranging from 70 to 80 per kilo. Too expensive for us. Mama got busy choosing for the sweet potato.
While in the market, we also buy 5 pieces of Monggo bread. This one is the best snack for us paired with coffee or milk. I so want to buy a Tuna Bread, but sadly, it's not available that time. ಥ_ಥ.
Here we are walking back home. I really feel so good here because I was able to cheer up Mama using my HBD. It feels so good to make someone happy and erase the frown on their forehead. Mama's face lights up a little because at least she has money to use every day, and her pet won't starve (≧▽≦). I'd like to thank Hive too, this won't happen if not for Hive. Seriously though, Hive's been helping me from the very start, and the people too who are supporting me all through my journey here. Thank you, guysuuuu, ＼(^o^)／.
