In this post I will share some pictures showing my activities and experiences while fishing in a river in the forest with my brother and some little kids who invited me to join them. But in this post of course I will explain it from the beginning of the trip, to my overall activities while fishing.

Yesterday morning, my brother invited me to go fishing in a river in the forest. At first I was not sure about this activity because the river was very far away and in the forest, but my brother convinced me again by saying that there were lots of big fish in the river, hearing that immediately made me interested in fishing in the river.
Because this activity is clear, so we immediately rushed to prepare some equipment and supplies for fishing, such as looking for bait and preparing fishing rods, and after everything was finished we did not waste any more time and immediately traveled to the river. However, when we were about to leave, suddenly there were some small children who saw it so that they immediately asked to join in this fishing activity, I did not have any suggestions but my brother allowed the small children to join.
This is a road that will take us into the forest and a dead end, but to get to the river, we have to choose another road, which is the road that turns left. However, one thing I forgot is that the road is very damaged and very muddy. However, because this is already halfway, we continue this journey.
It would be very difficult to pass through because the muddy road would make the motorbike stuck in the mud. However, I did not run out of ideas to be able to pass through this route, so I had to pass through the road in the residents' plantation because there did seem to be a footpath in it.
After passing through the road inside the plantation, I finally returned to the main road, but this time I really ran out of ideas because there was a threat right before my eyes😅
I wasn't sure I could cross this small bridge using a motorbike, the bridge was very small, it even looked like a thin piece of iron, but I could see the tire marks of a motorbike crossing the bridge, which indicated that someone had crossed this bridge using a motorbike, what extraordinary courage.
Rather than take any risks, we decided to park our motorbikes on the side of the road and start walking.
Of course walking would be very tiring, but there are some advantages to walking, namely we can take shortcuts to get to the river quickly.
Until finally we arrived at the river after passing several residents' plantations.
Once we arrived at the river, I was very surprised to see the river water was green and of course the river was very deep. Our job was to look after some small children who were fishing because playing on the edge of the deep river was very dangerous.
Without having time to rest, I immediately took the bait and immediately attached it to the fishing hook and started looking for a suitable place as a place to sit. I was very sure that I would get a lot of fish in this river because from above I could see a lot of fish playing in the water.
That means in this activity there are 5 people, me, my brother, and three small children, so with this number we really hope to get a lot of fish.
Yey and finally I managed to get my first fish.

The fish I managed to catch was a tilapia, and this is the normal size of this fish, not too big and not too small. And after I got the fish, I was followed by a small child who also managed to catch a catfish.
The most annoying thing when fishing is waiting for the fish to take our bait, sometimes we have to wait for minutes just for one fish, fishing to relieve boredom actually makes it even more boring Lol.
And my brother has also managed to catch 2 tilapia fish, and the number of fish we caught has increased, and was followed by another small child who also caught tilapia fish, and the current catch is 6 fish, 5 tilapia fish and one catfish.

And yes, I managed to catch a snakehead fish, and it was truly amazing when we caught this fish because the sensation of pulling the snakehead fish was very strong and it was truly challenging and extraordinary.
From 9 am to 12 pm, that means we have been fishing for about 3 hours and that still wasn't enough to satisfy us, so the desire to continue fishing was getting bigger. However, nature said otherwise, the bright morning weather immediately changed to cloudy weather in the afternoon, until light rain began to fall.
This left us with no other choice but to immediately make the journey home, considering that the road we were going to pass through was truly extreme, especially with the addition of rainwater, which would definitely make the road even more slippery, so we immediately rushed to pack up all our things and immediately made the journey home.
The fish we have managed to catch
As soon as we got home, we immediately took the fish to the kitchen to be cleaned first because we were going to process the fish that we had successfully caught into our lunch. Of course, fresh fish is very delicious fish 😋😋
I myself did not have much difficulty cleaning the fish because I often do it so that the activity of cleaning the fish becomes an easy thing for me. And it did not take me long to clean the fish because there was a small child who helped me clean the fish.
And after the fish were cleaned, we immediately took them to the stove to fry them, but before that we also didn't forget to add some spices such as salt and lime juice to remove the fishy smell and add to the taste of the fish.
After being fried for a few minutes, the fish is finally ready to eat, and we don't forget to add rice and make it as lunch.
Just waiting for a few more people, we immediately ate the fish to our heart's content.
It is truly an extraordinary and very profitable activity, we have succeeded in utilizing natural resources very well, and there is no need to question the taste of the fish itself, this is fresh fish and has a sweet taste. 😋
