Hello beautiful #ladiesofhive it's great to be here again and to take part in this week's contest.
I have been taught that hair symbolizes beauty and strength and with a good hair, our dressing looks complete and it makes a lady feel confident.
Picture of my hair before i cut it
I love good hairs most importantly when it makes me feel good and comfortable.
I have been braiding my hair over the years till i got married and then pregnancy sets in.
My decision to have a hair cut was due to some changes in my lifestyle.I remember when i made up my mind to cut my hair I had three main reasons
Postpartum hair loss:
I felt some changes in my hair texture when I had my second child
I was told that some new moms experience it while others don't experience it at all, but i had experienced it myself.
After having my second child and during breastfeeding i lost a lot of it.
Though my hair loss wasn't that severe
but it had loose it thickness and i knew it was a good time to have a haircut
so during my third pregnancy i decided to try something different by barbing my hair
I felt it was something i needed to do
The feelings at first was a mix feelings
I felt nervous and also happy that am going to do something different from the usual after a long period of time .
And i eventually did it,after the haircut I guess it was worth it because i felt refresh and free.
Pregnancy:
Carrying low cut during pregnancy was one of the best moments i had during pregnancy, i was able to overcome heat exhaustion during the hot temperature season,
i was happy and lively.
Also, i didn't have to deal with the thought of fixing and loosening my hair and the discomfort it came with during pregnancy.
I felt like a free happy bird.
To create a new style:
I needed something new and different because I have been braiding my hair for a long period of time,i wanted to look different and represent a new style as a mother
I felt it was a way of expressing my personality probably at the moment.
Thank you so much for reading.
