🍺 Hello dear Hivians, beer lovers, and music fans!
Reading a few posts from the Beer Community inspired me to create one of my own — about beer, of course! By the way, this is my second post in the community.
Last weekend, I had a wonderful visit from my grandson and close family. We had a great time — flew a drone, the kids rode their mini bikes, and us adults enjoyed some refreshing Stella Artois beers together.
A bit of history
Stella Artois was born in the city of Leuven, Belgium, in 1366, when the brewery Den Hoorn (The Horn) began producing craft beer. In 1708, Sebastian Artois became the master brewer and later gave his name to the brand.
The name “Stella”, meaning star in Latin, was added in 1926, when a special Christmas edition was launched. Its success was so great that the name stayed forever.
🍻 The beer
Stella Artois has a smooth, pleasant taste — slightly sweet at first, with a clean, mild bitterness at the finish.
Tasting notes:
Aroma: malty, with light floral and hoppy notes.
Body: medium-light, with good carbonation and a creamy white foam.
Finish: refreshing and dry — perfect to enjoy with food or on its own.
It’s said that Stella Artois is one of the best-selling premium beers in the world. Though it originated in Belgium, it’s now produced by AB InBev, the largest brewing company on the planet, under strict quality standards.
In Colombia, the beer is brewed by Bavaria & Cía S.C.A., with about 5% ABV. I can personally vouch for its quality — I loved it! I still have a few left in the fridge, so I’ll be ending the day savoring another one, served nice and cold. 🍺

Hola queridos hivianos, amantes de la cerveza y la música.
Leyendo algunos post de la Comunidad Beer me inspiro para crear el mío propio, sobre la cerveza claro! Por cierto mi segundo post en la Comunidad.
El fin de semana recibí la visita en casa del nieto y la familia más cercana y compartimos de lo lindo, elevamos algún drone, los pequeños montaron motos y nosotros los adultos degustamos unas ricas cervezas Stella Artois.
Un poco de historia
La cerveza Stella Artois nació en la ciudad de Leuven, Bélgica, en 1366, cuando la cervecería Den Hoorn (El Cuerno) comenzó a producir cerveza artesanal. En 1708, Sebastian Artois se convirtió en maestro cervecero y más tarde dio su nombre a la marca.
El nombre “Stella”, que significa estrella en latín, fue añadido en 1926, cuando se lanzó una edición especial para Navidad. Su éxito fue tan grande que el nombre se quedó para siempre. 🌟
La cerveza
La Stella Artois tiene un sabor suave y agradable al paladar, al principio se siente un poquito dulce y finalizando con un ligero amargor.
Otras características:
Aroma: maltoso, con ligeras notas florales y de lúpulo.
Cuerpo: medio-ligero, con buena carbonatación y espuma blanca cremosa.
Final: refrescante y seco, ideal para acompañar comidas o beber sola.
Según he leído, Stella Artois es una de las cervezas premium más vendidas del mundo. Aunque su origen es belga, pertenece al grupo AB InBev (la cervecera más grande del planeta), que la produce en diferentes países bajo estrictos estándares de calidad.
La cerveza en Colombia es producida por Babaria & Cia S.C.A y tiene aproximadamente 5 grados de alcohol en volumen. Puedo dar fe de su calidad porque me ha encantado, todavía me quedan algunas en la nevera así que terminaré el día saboreando una servida bien fría.
