Trump and Vance overplayed their hand

Ridiculous

This evening there was a meeting between president Zelensky from Ukraine and president Trump and vice president Vance. The meeting ended in a loud disagreement between them in which Trump and Vance clearly offended Zelensky. But there was no reason to, it was clearly a planned attempt to make Zelensky look bad. But it didn’t work out as they planned. He kept his nerve and stayed very calm and decent. Trump and Vance clearly overplayed their hand tonight and made a fool of themselves…

The war isn’t over yet…

Fascinating. I've watched this and saw a different scenario.

It's a good reminder that two different nomimally rational people can observe the same phenomena and reach contradictory conclusions.

Putin's aims are the same as they have always been, he wants to expand Russia's borders and turn his country in to the most powerful in the world. Today was a fantastic day for him and his allies in China and North Korea. Trump bowed down to Putin in front of the whole world. He can tell whatever story he wants about what happened to his American supporters and repeat it until they believe him, with the help of Fox News etc. Luckily in the rest of the world we value the truth and know a weak man when we see one. He can muffle the senate, the judges and take control of the media narrative via his 'Truth' Social propaganda platform but he can't get to the billions of world citizens that hate what he represents.

I think I saw this post about their meeting yesterday but I didn't read the content of the meeting. It was a good one and sometimes, that's why it's good to be comported and reserved because of things like this. I hope they resolve their differences soon.

I have to say that i should not say anything regarding politics anymore - it strikes me we have only black and white, nothing in between and seeing Linkedin to move from a business to a politics network annoys me. Whatever I say I would be dragged in either white or black corner - there is no discussion anymore.

Trump started a war - Zelensky is a guy i totally dislike (based on many reasons). US and Europe are fighting now - what shall i support, war or peace - is there any option?
