It's the evening of the first Sunday of the year 2025. Today, January 5th, we had a bit of a hectic morning, because the dog in the house was barking because a puppy was crying alone in the neighbor's house.
One knows that it is normal for dogs to bark, it is also understandable that a puppy left alone in a house (perhaps for the first time) is very normal to cry and howl. But one thing is that one understands the situation and its causes, and another is that one is able to bear it calmly. In our case, we were really fed up with not being allowed to sleep.
Finally, we fell asleep and the noise no longer mattered. I guess that is like people who get used to sleeping with their bedroom next to a train track or a highway with heavy traffic. In the long run, humans get used to everything.
Apart from that, there are other concerns, and I can't say that this Sunday was a very calm and pleasant day. There is news of serious health problems of a relative. We have a week is about to begin that promises to be politically hectic in our country, the economic difficulties we have around us are getting worse… in short, this beginning of the year is (at least) intense.
I can only hope that everything gets better for everyone, and that it does so soon. I say goodbye, wishing that you are better than what I narrate here, and hoping that I can write a more lively post in the near future.

Estoy en la noche del primer domingo del año 2025. Hoy, 5 de enero, tuvimos una madrugada un poco agitada, debido a que el perro de la casa estaba ladrando porque un cachorro estaba llorando solo en la casa del vecino.
Uno sabe que es normal que los perros ladren, también es comprensible que un cachorro que se queda solo en una casa (quizás por primera vez) es muy normal que llore y aullé. Pero una cosa es que uno entienda la situación y sus causas, y otra es que sea uno capaz de soportarlo con calma. En nuestro caso estábamos realmente hartos de que no nos dejaran dormir.
Finalmente, nos caímos de sueño y ya no importaba el ruido. Supongo que eso es como la gente que se acostumbra a dormir teniendo su dormitorio al lado de una vía de tren o de una autopista de tránsito pesado. A la larga el ser humano se acostumbra a todo.
Fuera de eso, hay otras preocupaciones, y no puedo decir que este domingo fuera un día muy tranquilo y agradable. Hay noticias de problemas de salud serios de una pariente, va a comenzar una semana que promete ser políticamente agitada en nuestro país, los problemas económicos que tenemos alrededor se están agravando… en fin, este inicio de año está (cuando menos) intenso.
Solo puedo desear que todo mejore para todos, y que lo haga pronto. Me despido deseándote que tú estés mejor de lo que yo narro acá, y esperando que pueda escribir un post más animado para un futuro cercano.
