Hello, friends! Pablito discovered Hive PUD and PUM, and I’m really excited!
I had to make a drastic power-down at the end of last year to financially sustain myself while waiting for a salary increase that the government only granted us now in May. It wasn’t something I enjoyed doing, but it was interesting to see how Hive helped me hold steady, getting through this tough time.
My HP history, with the power-down I made in early 2025 (I joined Hive in April 2023).
Now that the salary increase has arrived, along with a retroactive adjustment for the first three months of the year, I’m firmly committed to restoring my Hive Power and gradually increasing it, slowly but surely. Hive PUD and PUM will make the journey even more fun.
These were initiatives I saw many posts about, but I never got interested because I rarely did power-ups: I received HP from my participation in Hive and used liquid Hive and HBD to fund my Splinterlands and other little things in the outside world... I also didn’t pay attention to the HiveBuzz badges—they were, to me, just those notifications we often mute or ignore.
Now that I’ve decided to return what I withdrew, I started looking into the subject and discovered that, along with the badges, you can compete for an HP delegation, which is distributed based on your persistence and participation in the game.
So what did I do? As soon as May 1st arrived, I powered up 100 HIVE to earn a first Level 3 PUD badge:

Eu tive que fazer um power down violento no final do ano, pra me segurar financeiramente, aguardando um aumento salarial que o governo só nos deu agora em maio. Não foi algo que eu gostei de fazer, mas foi interessante como a Hive me ajudou a segurar essa barra, atravessar esse momento difícil.

Agora que o aumento veio, e veio também uma recomposição retroativa aos primeiros três meses do ano, estou no firme propósito de restituir meu Hive Power, e seguir incrementando-o, devagar e sempre, e Hive PUD e PUM vão tornar a empreitada ainda mais divertida.
Eram iniciativas que eu via muita postagem, mas nunca me interessei, porque não costumava dar power up: recebia os HP da participação na Hive, e utilizava os Hive e HBD pra custear meu splinterlands e coisinhas aqui no mundo de fora... Também não dava bola pros badges da hivebuzz, eram mais aquelas notificações às quais a gente não dá muita importância.
Agora que decidi devolver o que saquei, que fui me interessar pelo assunto e descobri que, junto com os Badges, você concorre a uma delegação de HP, que é distribuída conforme sua persistência e participação no jogo.
O que eu fiz, então? Tão logo veio dia primeiro de maio, fiz um power up de 100 HIVE, pra ganhar um primeiro emblema nível 3:
