I find it curious on why they would buy paramount as a whole, which is already having difficulty. Do they have a plan to turn things around? If it was just for the IPs, then I think they could have just bought rights to those or struck a deal similar to what Marvel did with Spiderman. Things like the movie theaters feel like a bad asset to hold right now because of the move to streaming.
