Some of the news I've read is that Disney is trying to pivot. I can see them moving towards AI generated content in the coming months/years. The biggest advantage they have is the large number of IP they control, as well as having some digital data of actors that they can use.

iger appears to be trying. The problem is how do you pivot when your entire organization, or most of it, is of one mindset, the one you are trying to move away from?

It is a monumental challenge and likely requires the canning of a lot of people.

From some of the things I've read online, they have been firing a lot of people. This 2024, Pixar seems to be in the crosshairs.

I would say that Sora and other programs like that are a huge threat to Pixar.

I agree. I can see Disney working with generative AI to create their movies in the near future.
