Before 2017, Shohei Ohtani wasn't popular in the US. But these past few years has already made people put him in contention for GOAT. When I was younger, Reggie Miller was considered the best three point shooter together with Bird. But the last few years has shown Steph Curry as the GOAT shooter.

I think a good addition would be a ranking system. We have things like IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, etc, that lists media. People are able to rate it, and comment on it. Those just watching for the first time years after its release can also share their thoughts on it.
