Hello everyone and welcome to my post.
Its another day and everyday brings us closer to reach out set goals.
My goals with God is to get to know him more and worship him to the fullest.
I am still on the process of this goal, and I hope to achieve it in no time.
In the process of knowing God more, I always join the mass indoctrination to sharpen and broaden my knowledge so I could know how to live in the image and likeness of God.
I learnt quite a lot from the lessons today. I joined from the beginning but could not finish because I had to concentrate in class.

The sermon opened with
LET THE LOVE AND PEACE OF THE OUR LORD JESUS BE WITH US ALL... AMEN
Acts 18:2 says And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.
We should know ourselves and the kind of race we are.
Before the WWII, Japan was intact and prohibited it's citizens to cross match with other countries.
Jewish quit their jobs, pack their belongings and flee for their lives during the time of Hitler. Many countries didn't accept them but President Manuel Quezon of the Philippines accepted them as about 1300 Jews gained entry to Manilla as of 1930.
No matter the race we come from, no matter our skin or eye color, we should see God
This is seen in the Bible passage below
Acts 17:26 which reads reads: And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
From this passage, God is not race based, gender based or anything but he wants everyone, rich or poor, white, black or red to listen to him and seek him and he will surely answer.
Another lesson learnt is that if Satan sees that we are listening and learning from he word of God, what Satan will do is to look for a way to distract us from listening by taking away our desire to seek the word of God.
Acts 13:7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God. 13:8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
Another lesson I learnt from sowing seeds is below.
Matthew 13:3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 13:4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: 13:5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 13:6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 13:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: 13:8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
Here, Jesus talked about a parable of a farmer sowing seeds and where some of the seeds fell on.
Luke 8:11 says: Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
From the passage above, in the parable that Jesus was talking about, the seed site word of God.
Bro Eli went further to break it down for us;
The place that the seed was planted is the heart of men.
The seed that fell on the waste side is the heart of those that hear the word of God but the devil came to take the words away.
A Stony heart is a hard heart which receives the seed but can not grow the seed.
A thorny heart can not grow the seed as other things are there to obstruct the growth of the seed.
A good heart on the other hand is a good place for the seed to grow and thrive.
Though the heart of men I always evil,
Ezekiel 36:26 says A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
The lessons of today was really intense and enjoyable.
