This past week, I accompanied my mom to her annual tax-paying rounds at the city hall. We also tried to pay for my sister's professional tax to save her a bit on trips and effort.
Sadly, the PTR window said it does not accept advanced payments. This is a bit strange, as I do not know of any person or agency who'd reject money.

Counting some bills.

Mmm, I don't get to see a lot of counterfeit notes, especially of 1,000-peso denominations.

With the computerized systems, the government has made it a lot easier for citizens to pay their dues. I hardly see any lines in these departments.

During our trip, we took a lot of Grab and GSM rideshares to facilitate the fast completion of our agenda. They are a bit on the expensive side, but they save a lot on grime and time.

Some drivers, however, are still unscrupulous, and trick us by blaming our booking, saying we had the wrong pick-up pin. It is a scam by which they gain a little money from the ridesharing company while the passengers get penalized. Too bad I wasn't able to call the company to complain. I did file a complaint through the app, however.

Another problem with three of the vehicles we rode is the unhygienic and dirty state of their cars. Baaad service. I should give them the appropriate rating.

Hopefully, I can still take trips like these with my mom while she is still on her feet and very healthy. Happy to help and feel alive by fulfilling our duties, one day at a time!
