It's a beautiful Thursday right here in the beautiful city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Special greetings to my beloved friends and supporters on my most amazing community, SPENDHBD. I trust we're all doing amazingly great with God on our side.

I'll love to begin my post today with these words from Abigail Adam 1780, she posited and I quote " Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardour and attended to with diligence".
In line with my post title above, indeed learning never stops not just here on hive but in everyday life.
My pastor often says that the day one stops learning is the day he or she dies.
Sunday 6th was yet another day slated for our hive training. We missed our leader @ijelady so much as she embarked on hive/spendhbd promotion in Akure Ondo State and this exercise took her whole two weeks. What a passion she has for this amazing project, the SPENDHBD project and hive as a whole.
Anchoring the training, she started by intimating us on her activities in Akure, the challenges she faced in onboarding some people and listing some businesses to ensure that the project is greatly promoted before her departure. One of the shops she succeeded listing was @ducglobal. She however said with the training@ivyann and partner received, more shops they couldn't list would be listed subsequently. I really admire her passion for this project.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TRAINING 💥💥💥
COMPOUNDING: I learnt about the importance of this, that i need to reinvest my earnings and rewards by staking tokens and coins so as to generate more rewards and grow my earnings over time.
Compounding also involves buying and accumulating hive tokens such as leo, loh, ! Alive, ecency, BBH, etc little by little and selling them in future.
I was made to understand that on hive Blockchain, we have close to 100 tokens. Waoh 😇 Hive is the best web 3 platform no mincing words.
I also learned that hive power(HP) is the highest token on hive with the most influence. Surprised?
ADVICE TO NEWBIES
Newbies were advised on how to stay consistently active on the hive Blockchain. Some of the advice given include the following:-
Engaging and participating in weekly contest such as indianunited contest, We Are Alive contest, Ladies of Hive contest, Ecency contest, Qc community contest etc etc. Participating in these contest comes with diverse rewards, tokens and also increases our visibility on this massive ocean( hive Blockchain).
Writing creative and quality contents, making creative and meaningful comments on others' posts.
This can't be possible if we don't painstakingly read and digest the posts before making any comments.Another very important advice was on spendhbd. The leader emphasized and re-emphasized on the importance of shopping with hive backed dollar (HBD). She opened up that she hardly buys anything now with fiat, encouraged all to shop more with hbd.
For me, it's painful to lose either 20, 25, 30, 35, or 40% Cashback on all my shopping so i choose to buy up hbds with fiat rather than shop with fiat. You gerrit?🤣👍
I also learnt about microblogging, having to share short, concise real life stories as post via ECENCY waves, inleo threads etc usually less than 240 word count especially when my mind seems to be blocked and i may not really figure out what to write on, u can simply microblog and stay active on the hive Blockchain.
I also learnt that active participation in We Alive Staking day every Tuesday helps us lock up hive tokens especially the !Alive token to convert them to HP. I'm glad I participated in this staking exercise for the first time this week. Yippee 💃💃💃
I learnt that 15th of every month is leo PUD and at least 50leo is needed to partake in this.
I've made up my mind to start engaging in leo to enable me join the PUD..
Every 1st day of the month is hive PUD and at least 10 hive is needed to participate in the PUD.
Alternatively, one can also power up one hive on a daily basis for 30 days consecutively.
Everyone receives a notification from hive once the person completes one year or more on the hive Blockchain showing how up to date and secured the database of hive is.
Our leader @ijelady also intimated us on how to be fully engaged Monday to Sunday meaning there should be no dulling any day on this Value-added platform called Hive Blockchain and i share as follows:
Mondays: We can post our weekly goals for the week on WeAliveCommunity
Tuesday: Staking, still on the We Alive community
Wednesday: We can share our daily activities, personal blogs, fun moments etc
Thursday: Share our life experiences in the We Alive community.
Friday: Endeavour to engage in as many posts as we can and make strategic and meaningful comments.
Saturday: We can write about posts we had engaged with, sharing the lessons learnt from each post and the values we derived from them.
During the training, we also planned on our 2nd hive meetup coming up this July. Stay tuned for more updates on this, ok.
Of a truth, i really learnt a whole lot from this training but I'll be rapping up here so i can attend to other matters calling on me.🤩
But before I go I almost forgot this very important issue of onboarding. The need to learn and grow on hive so we can also teach others as we can't give what we don't have. While onboarding, we must use a trusted person on the platform and thank goodness our leader@ijelady is well competent to do this.
