RE: LUCY

I like this film because, despite it being a little difficult to place in reality, certainly touches on points that fascinate people, and this cements its importance and lasting appeal. Of course, because it's directed by Luc Besson, the whole movie 'looks' great. Stylish and cool, which of course is down to him and JEan-Jacques Beinix being the founders of the 'Cinema du luck' movement in the 80's which spawned my second favourite movie of all time, Betty Blue.

Good shout in bringing this film to Hive, deserves a wider audience and if you've never seen it, please check out Betty Blue (1987) either standard length or director's cut. An awesome movie in every respect.

Those are true points indeed. It does touch on vital points that would leave the audience fascinated.

I will, in fact, check it out. I'm always on the hunt for gripping tales. Thanks for the recommendation.
