Pinocchio was a favorite character for many kids around 2 decades back. I am not sure now. Fairy tales always took me in a dreamy world. Good that your mom always had your back. Great reading about your thoughts.

Honestly, though, I think it is harder for kids to dream the way we did now, with all the screens and instant content that leave so little room to imagine. Fairy tales gave us a dreamy world, and I hope they get one too.
