With all the celebrations going around in the city it was difficult to finalize on which place to go for the Christmas evening. Then I got to know that in one of the city malls they had the biggest Christmas tree of the city so me and hubby decided to visit here. This is a famous place and I normally come here for all my shopping. It's called the Phoenix Mall, I have shared some pictures of it earlier also. On all occasions there are celebrations in this place and they decorate this place really well as per the festival theme. During Diwali the place had lamp decorations all around, and now for Christmas the settings have been changed.
At the entrance there was this Snow man glittering in red, golden and white with Christmas Trees around it. The place was crowded and it was difficult to click pictures. If you see I have done some editing to remove all the faces from the picture :-)
You can see how crowded the place is, in the mall it was still ok but in the courtyard it felt like as if the whole city had gathered there.
The Christmas Tree was really huge and very grand and it had some very stunning lighting effects.
These are some pictures of the decor done in the mall
After some shopping and spending some time looking around all the decorations we then settled in for dinner at one of the restaurants in the mall itself, we were there till midnight, when we finished and got out by that time the crowd had dispersed and the lightings were also switched off. After that I could get a nice clear view of the Tree and could click some pictures taking some close up shots.
Christmas is over but the vibe will still remain for a few more days until new years and people are still in the holiday mood.
I hope that everyone had a merry time celebrating the festival with their near and dear ones.
