Do all the toilets where you live have the flush handle on the right side? I have never seen them on the right. Over here they are now making them with a two part push button on top of the lid, one side for #1 and the other for #2

In 1804, New York became the first state to require right-hand travel on all public highways, and by the Civil War, all states followed.
