Some things are just meant to be - such as havign a client and falling for her. Benson probably thought that that would not happen to him. However he fell in love with SHantel. It is great that the love was requieted as Shantel as they embraced and complimented Benson. The story does not tell what happens thereafter but it can be assumed that they stay together.
